The O*NET Work Importance Locator is a self-assessment career exploration tool that allows you to pinpoint what is important to you in a job. It can help you identify occupations you may find satisfying based on your work values (such as achievement, autonomy, and conditions of work). Follow the steps below to complete the assessment:

- Download and print the assessment instructions.
- Download and print the Work Value Cards, then cut them into 20 individual cards.
- Download and then print the Work Value Card Sorting Sheet.
- Download and print the Work Importance Locator Score Report, which contains lists of occupations.
- Now that you have all the necessary materials, thoroughly review the instructions before beginning the exercise. Remember, this is not a test. There are no right or wrong answers.
